1. Shipping Coverage

The Biomaterial Store ships orders within the United Kingdom and, where available, to selected international destinations.

Shipping availability may vary depending on product type, regulatory requirements and destination. Certain products may only be supplied or shipped to appropriately qualified dental professionals.

2. Order Processing Times

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.

Orders placed before 2:00 pm (UK time) are typically processed on the same business day.

Orders placed after 2:00 pm, or on weekends or UK public holidays, will normally be processed on the next business day.

Order processing times are separate from delivery times and may occasionally be affected by product availability, regulatory checks or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

3. Delivery Methods & Times

We use reputable courier services to provide secure and reliable delivery.

UK Mainland Delivery

• Standard Delivery: typically 1–3 business days.
• Next Business Day Delivery: available at checkout where applicable.

Non-Mainland UK & International Delivery

Delivery methods and estimated delivery times vary according to destination and will be displayed at checkout or confirmed when your order is processed.

All delivery times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise and are not guaranteed.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and may be based on:

• the delivery method selected;
• order size and weight;
• delivery destination; and
• any special handling or delivery requirements.

For international orders, any applicable import duties, taxes, customs charges, clearance fees or other charges imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the Customer unless expressly stated otherwise.

5. Dispatch Confirmation & Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email.

Where tracking is available, the email will include the relevant tracking information or instructions for tracking your delivery.

6. Delivery Responsibility & Risk

Risk of loss or damage to the Goods passes to the Customer upon delivery to the delivery address specified in the order.

For business customers, delivery is deemed complete when the Goods have been delivered to the address provided by the Customer or otherwise delivered in accordance with the Customer's instructions.

Customers are responsible for:

• providing a complete and accurate delivery address;
• ensuring that the delivery location is suitable for receiving the Goods; and
• where necessary, ensuring that an appropriate person is available to receive the delivery.

Where a Customer provides instructions permitting a courier to leave a parcel in a safe place or with another person, delivery in accordance with those instructions may constitute successful delivery.

7. Failed or Delayed Deliveries

The Biomaterial Store shall not be responsible for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

• incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the Customer;
• courier or transportation delays;
• adverse weather conditions;
• customs or border clearance procedures;
• industrial action;
• disruption to transport networks; or
• force majeure events.

Additional delivery charges may apply where re-delivery is required as a result of incorrect address information, refusal of delivery or unsuccessful delivery attempts attributable to the Customer.

If you experience a significant delay in receiving your order, please contact us so that we can investigate the delivery with the relevant courier.

8. Damaged, Missing or Incomplete Orders

Customers should inspect their order as soon as reasonably practicable following delivery.

If your order arrives damaged, contains incorrect Goods, or is incomplete, please notify us as soon as possible and, where possible, within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide:

• your order number;
• a description of the issue;
• details of any missing or incorrect items; and
• where applicable, photographic evidence of the damage, including photographs of the packaging.

Notification within 48 hours assists us in investigating the matter promptly and making any necessary claim with the courier.

Failure to notify us within this timeframe may affect our ability to pursue a claim with the courier but does not affect any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

9. Regulatory & Product Restrictions

Certain products supplied by The Biomaterial Store are intended for professional dental use only and may be subject to professional, regulatory, manufacturer or other supply restrictions.

Where applicable, Customers may be required to provide evidence of appropriate professional registration, including a valid General Dental Council (GDC) registration number, before an order can be accepted or dispatched.

The Biomaterial Store reserves the right to refuse, suspend or cancel an order or shipment where:

• applicable professional or regulatory requirements have not been satisfied;
• required professional credentials cannot be verified;
• shipment of the Goods to the specified destination is prohibited or restricted;
• the Goods cannot lawfully or safely be supplied to the Customer; or
• fulfilling the order would otherwise breach applicable law or regulatory requirements.

11. Governing Law

This Shipping Policy and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction in relation to any dispute arising from this Shipping Policy, subject to any mandatory legal rights that may apply.
